Electricity is the flow of electrons . Every electrical component is made of metals which allow electron flow.
It is possible that when special metals are under the influence of either magnetic flux or in a special heat can cause this electrons to move to generate current.
Such research is necessary to found out other means to cause electrons to flow other than the rotation of copper coil around a magnet as in dynamo .
