Why MASSOB banished Nwodo, Wogu from Igbo land

ENUGU - The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra,MASSOB,yesterday,warned former governor of Enugu State,Okwesilieze Nwodo and former Minister of Labour/Productivity, Emeka Wogu, not to set their foot on Igbo land, following anti Biafra stance allegedly adopted by the duo.
MASSOB was reacting to a statement credited to the All Progressives Congress,APC,south-east geopolitical zone,wherein it urged MASSOB to abandon the agitation for Biafra and join in building Nigeria at a meeting held last Sunday in Enugu, where the former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Nwodo and Wogu,joined the APC.
In a statement made available to Vanguard yesterday, by MASSOB's National Director of Information,Edeson Samuel, the pro Biafra group said,"MASSOB is calling on Ndigbo and all Biafrans to disregard this shameless Abuja politicians who have no conscience. All they are interested in, is their personal interest. These are men who have lost their integrity. None of them can beat their chest boldly and say that this is what they have done for Ndigbo.
"They left Fulani herdsmen that has been killing our people, raping our women, destroying our farmland to operate. They now run to APC where their sins will be covered. Emma Enukwu should be ashamed of himself and APC. Their plan to Islamise south-east/south-south and entire Biafra land in 2019 is going to be a failed adventure.
"It is either a referendum in Biafra land or nothing else. We will no longer allow this Abuja politicians to come to Igbo land and deceived our people in the name of fighting for Igbo presidency. Who is Nwodo, Wogu and Co? When Nwodo was PDP National Chairman what impact did he make in the life of our people. Wogu was Minister of labour can he tell us what his ministry achieve in the south-east. None of these men who claimed to be heavyweight politicians have ever opened their mouth to challenge the evil done to our people by Government of Obasanjo/Buhari.
"The Enugu-Onitsha expressway, Enugu-Portharcourt expressway, all the federal roads and railway line in the south-east are death traps. Nwodo and Wogu have never for one day spoken against this abandoned projects in Igboland".
